Mr Rapsky teaches all grade 7 & 8 Jr high students physical education. The following are sports that the kids can participate in throughout the year. Each sport culminates in a Rolling River Athletic Association tournament.
soccer
Soccer is our start-up sport for the school year. Usually the first weekend in October.
volleyball
Coaches for the 2008/09 year are Ms.Muirhead for the girls and the boys' coaches are Ms. Stone. The Divisional Tournment is set for Monday, December 1st The girls will be in Minnedosa and the boys will be in Forrest.
curling
Mrs. Tegg and Ms. Everett will be coaching our curlers this year. The Divisional Bonspiel will be held in Rivers on Saturday, February 7.
basketball
Coaches for the girls basketball team are Mr.Lawson & Mrs. Dowsett. Mr. Rapsky and Mr. McNabb will be coaching the boys. The Divisional Tournament will be held Wednesday, March 4 with a 1:00 p.m. start. Girls will play in Forrest and boys will go to Minnedosa.
badminton
The Divisional Badminton Tournament will be held Saturday, April 25 with the Grade 8's in Minnedosa and the Grade 7's in Forrest.
speed-up softball
Junior highs play Mixed Speed-Up Softball. The Divisional Final will be played on Friday, June 5th in Oak River. Games will start at 9:00.
track 'n field
T.C.S. will have their elimination meet on the week of May 11th-15th. Parents are encouraged to come out and watch their child. The RRSD Divisional Meet will be held on Monday, May 25, at the Sportsplex in Brandon.
