This year counselling services will once again include individual, group, and crisis counselling as well as class work, all with a focus on intervention and prevention. The focus of classroom presentations will be to promote personal and social development appropriate to each developmental stage. Referrals for individual or group sessions can be made by students themselves, teachers, administration, or parents. These referrals can include any situations where students would benefit from an environment where they can:
- Respond to emotional, social, intellectual, academic, physical, safety, and health needs
- Develop awareness of personal uniqueness
- Grow in areas such as decision making and social relationships
Parents are always welcome to be a part of this process and can feel free to contact me should they ever have any questions regarding their child.
